NFL Week 13 Recap with Commentary - Pro Football Opinion

Week 13 Commentary goal 50pts

  • Russell Wilson to George Pickins is beautiful. I'm not sure if Russ has ever had a receiver as talented. DK possibly?

  • Commanders can put up points in a hurry.

  • The Bengals came to play, to make their playoff push perhaps. We picked them to overtake Denver down the stretch and sneak in, they need to win today to do so. MYO

  • Is anyone throwing a better bag beyond 15 yards than Russ Wilson

  • Offense is not a problem for the Bengals they can match anyone scoring wise

  • Burrow really won't let the receivers wear sleeves?

  • The Patriots offense looks pretty efficient, they are beginning to mesh and Maye is getting his footing a bit. His stats have been fairly solid. They have just lacked explosivity in their skilled players and in big time chinks.

  • Ugliest uniforms of the morning slate are the Bengals, pick a color.

  • AGAIN WILSON GOES LONG TO PICKENS FOR 36 YARDS

  • Wilson can still buy time, no problem doing so, just slides the pocket and really has command of the pocket

  • Patriots just find ways to lose games

  • Colts keep themselves relevant

  • Vikings escape yet again, they win another one score game.

  • Jets squander again after starting out looking fluid.

  • Falcons continue to sink, although really they still are in ok shape to continue to fight for the division.

  • The Steelers looked really good today, like one of the elite teams in the league. Mike T is building upon their repertoire also. By bringing in Fields little by little in more “critical” type moments.

  • Bryce Young is beginning to get meaningful reps in for Carolina.

  • Lamar impressed again in the first quarter.

  • Eagles start a little slow. But DAMN (In Ron Simmons’ tone). The Eagles really are one of the elite teams this season.

  • Early in the third Puca Nacus hits his head hard off the field, looks like maybe a concussion situation

  • I don't like the way Jalen Hurts’ jersey is all scrunched up in the back

  • 12 or 13?  rushing touchdowns this season for Hurts

  • The Bucs hold on, but the story here is Bryce Young. He’s showing growth and the Panthers are losing some close games that are ok if they lose. For business reasons and they are still getting the same type of reps as if they had come down and won that game for example, they went 99% of the way in other words. A hard sell maybe but there's value there.

  • Rams pick up another win to keep the NFC West tight.

  • The Steelers put up 44 to win, who would have thought.

  • Bengals are just a mess. For the third time around the pergola, I'm back out. Although, I did say they could afford to split with the Steelers… If the Broncos stumble late like previously predicted on this site..

  • Chargers beat the Falcons, in Charger/Harbaugh fashion. Under 20 points.

  • The Falcons might have some problems, They can still command the division with just one more win inside the NFC South, so the sky isn’t falling, but they look like they need a kick in the ass on offense somehow.

  •  Saquon puts up 107 and a TD. And again ascends the MVP rankings. Look for Saqon to steal it if the QBs don't get the 1 seed. Josh Allen for Buffalo and Jared Goff for Detroit.

  • Ravens are still ok, they should be fine they just need to hold their own down the stretch, they cannot mess around and end up as the 7 seed, that would be bad.

  • Bills just owned this weather.

  • How could SF really have stood a chance in these elements? Has any west coast team ever beaten a northeastern snow team on the road in a game like that, probably very few…

  • Josh Allen, recency bias is now the favorite for MVP but Lamar still the stat line. However Lamar did not have the stat line last year and won anyway as the QB of the 1 seed. Stop voting that way voters.
