Green Bay has quietly been building something serious. Last season Jordan Love battled injuries all year right from the beginning when he injured his knee in week one. Even still, he delivered high level quarterback play. The defense was one of the best five and now with the addition of Micah Parsons, (the heist of this decade), what coach is not having nightmares about facing the Packers. Matt LaFleur is dialed in, the team knows exactly what their identity is and most of the boxes that it takes to compete in January are already checked.. With a healthy Jordan Love and a defense that can be the best in football, this is the year the Packers climb through that Super Bowl window that has evaded them for over a decade.
Until someone shows me otherwise, Kansas City remains the team to beat. The Bills still haven’t cleared the mental or tactical hurdle of beating Mahomes and company when it matters most- I don’t see that changing this season. The Ravens are close-real close. But unless something wild happens with seeding or injuries, the Chiefs likely wont have to face both Buffalo and Baltimore en route to San Francisco and Super Bowl Sixty. The path, combined with their playoff pedigree keeps the advantage with KC.
