NFL Week 1 Commentary: Bills Rally Past Ravens, Steelers vs Jets Showdown

Game Commentary:

  • Bijan Robinson gets the first touchdown, he is. playmaker in the open field.

  • Steelers offense was humming early, Rodgers looks comfortable.

  • Jets defense is playing hard can tell right outta the gate, Aaron Glen’s presence felt.

  • Drake Maye looking to run early.

  • Jets look real nice, Fields making great choices, hanging in there the pocket.

  • Jets dominating TOP, Dorat downs and Yards

  • Aaron Rodgers and the receiving core seem to be on the same page .

  • Giants look like they have no offense. Like Pittsburgh did last year, this is the probe with a Russell Wilson led offense, he brings nothing really to the table any longer.

  • Jets Steelers most intriguing game of the morning.

  • Geno Smith is a solid freaking QB. Any franchise should want a guy like him.

  • Browns dominating TOP.

  • Micah Parsons has 52.5 sacks in 4 season. Aiden Hutchinson who we thought was next in line for a massive D-End contract has 28 in 3 . WHAT?!

  • Definitely an Aaron Rodgers offense inn Pittsburgh, quick zips, tight end seams, the strategic air ball for a penalty late in the fourth when you need a big chunk.

  • Bucs have that swagger, Baker comes down and daggers them late in the fourth quarter.

  • Falcons Bucs come down to the wire, this is sort of expected with them huh?

  • Jets Steelers best game of the morning.

  • The Steelers look pretty good, like they know what the heck they're doing, something I hadn't seen from them in recent years past.

  • Colts made the right choice with Daniel Jones, and Jones also made the right choice picking Indy. They could be a match made in football. 4 touchdown day and 272 yards.

  • Lions look very unimpressive, they hurt on offense big time something we hadn’t seen from them in recent years.

  • 49ers look good as they start their “slither through the field” campaign. Easy schedule this season could benefit them huge.

  • Brock Purdy looks solid and worth that $40 mill +

  • Smith Nijigba has himself a day. 9 catches for 124 yards

  • Seattle loses 2 fumbles in the 4th. Was that a true Sam Darnold moment? Al choke.

  • Broncos gonna Bronco. Run the ball and solid quarterback play, not flashy but it’s good.

  • Deebo looked good on the run, looked committed for a season veteran.

  • Quiet outta Jacksonville. Travis Hunter doesn’t get many looks on defense.

  • Spencer rattler looks like a really good arena league QB.

  • Drama was present today across the league. 2 missed field goals to lose. 1 to win.

  • Goff wasn’t ready for Parsons on the sack, Micah closed the gap very quickly.

  • Ravens had a solid game. They’re going to be just fine.

  • Lamar is ok to run this year. I wondered how much he would look to run. The claim is he wants to be a pocket passer. He's a damn good one. He's a damn good everything.

  • Derrick Henry is picking up where he left off last season.

  • Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson what a show.

  • Derrick Henry just a football moment fumbling near the end of the game. These moments just happen, it’s football.

  • Ravens lose a heartbreaker in the opener for the second year in a row. They lose on the last play. Last year it was toe-gate on opening night to the Chiefs where the catch was ruled out and that’s how the game ended.

  • Ravens will take it on the chin and move on.

  • Huge win for Buffalo and perhaps the start of their very own special season. It had that feel to it, like a really big moment.

  • Further proof if it was needed that you always have a chance with Josh Allen. And unlike in his younger years, he won't mess it up by slinging it too crazy, and he’ll kill you, kill you with his legs.

  • The Ravens defense looked very basic. Even after the game the coverage spoke of how simple and non threatening they looked.

  • Rodney Harrison after the game said J’aire Alexander wasn’t ready for the game. And he was getting picked on late in the game.

  • Buffalo 497 total yards, Josh Allen 394 passing, 4 total touchdowns.

  • Ravens 432 yards, Lamar 70 rush yards
