NFL Week 12 Game Previews - Look-A-Head with Pro Football Opinion
Week 12 Look A head
Commentary and Storylines to get you ready for every NFL Week 12 football game.
Titans v Texans
Don’t expect too much excitement on this one.
Can Houston position themselves for a solid run down the stretch or are they going to continue to let the Colts linger around.
Vikings v Bears
Vikings have one of the best records in the league, but have had a few close games against teams with below .500 records.
The Bears could keep it interesting since the offense looked much improved last week under new OC Thomas Brown.
Cowboys v Commanders
The Commanders are certainly the better team here.
Can Dan Quinn get his first victory against his former team, which he will be seeing a lot of in the years to come.
Jayden Daniels is also recovering nearly almost if not all from what we are being told from his rib injury that occurred way back in week 7 against the Panthers.
Patriots v Dolphins
The Dolphins have a lot left to play for, they certainly have had their woes this season, but they could make a late push here to keep the race for the AFC wild card spots interesting.
For the Patriots, they will have some chances to play spoiler here late in the season as they look to improve their offense with rookie QB Drake Maye. Maye, the third overall pick in this year’s draft, has shown he belongs in the starting role in New England,
Chiefs v Panthers
The Chiefs are coming off their first loss since Christmas Day, expect them to bounce back against one of the worst teams in the league.
Carolina on the other hand could benefit from some solid reps for Bryce Young who has seemed to sort of reclaim the starting role.
Buccaneers v Giants
The Bucs have had a little bit of a rough go lately losing five out of their last six games but have a semi favorable schedule down the stretch with only the Chargers in week 15 being a current playoff team.
Can Baker get back to his MVP type play that he had early in the season?
With Mike Evans making his return Baker finally has a threat back on his side.
The Giants on the other hand have been in the news this week after cutting QB Daniel Jones and now turning to Tommy DeVito to lead the G-men into battle. DeVito led the team to a 3-3 record as a starter last season.
Lions v Colts
The Colts are a sneaky lingerer, and could play spoiler for some teams down the stretch.
Still in the playoff hunt and Anthony Richardson on a second stint as the starter, Colts are playing for more than just wins with their second year QB.
Lions on the other hand have all their stuff buttoned up. Along with Baltimore lead the league in points per game, and have just been absolutely crushing their opponents all season.
Broncos v Raiders
The Broncos have emerged as a front runner for one of the last couple of wildcard spots. They are in a strong position to hold steady at six or seven, and can even win upcoming games against the Chargers and the Bengals to solidify it.
The Raiders have not had much going for them all season and Denver seems to be really locked in right now.
Bo Nix is cooking and making a case for offensive rookie of the year, certainly ascending to the top of the conversation with Jayden Daniels.
Cardinals v Seahawks
MYO: Best non primetime game of the week.
The NFC West is so tight and every division game matters more than usual.
Cardinals are in first place and the only NFC West team to not have lost a division game yet at 2-0
Seahawks are formidable and can hang with almost anyone
Both teams are 5-5 and they're tied for the 8th seed (and first team out of the playoff bracket)
49ers v Packers
49ers injury woes continue, Brock Purdy is out with a shoulder injury, and Nick Bosa with a hip injury.
They will have their hands full with the Packers who are making a strong push atop the NFC rankings.
Eagles v Rams SNF
Fantastic Sunday Night game between the Eagles who are trying to stake their claim at the top of the NFC, trailing the first place Lions by only one loss.
The Rams on the flip side are also fighting for position for the final playoff spot in the NFC.
Matthew Stafford and company usually show out pretty well for primetime games.
This one has the recipe for a fun nightcap.
Ravens v Chargers MNF
Harbaugh vs Harbaugh once again for the first time since the Super Bowl matchup eleven years ago.
The Chargers are a solid team and have had a fantastic turn around in Jim Harbaugh's first season.
Justin Herbert is coming off a couple big performances in recent weeks including staging off the Bengals on Monday night to end week 11.
Enjoy the games this weekend!
